-
Satisfaction Guarantee We are grateful for your support and we want you to be happy with your purchase!
-
We sell tubers that are at least the size of the AA battery. Please do not purchase from us if you are not okay with this size. As long as a tuber has an eye, an intact neck and a body, it has everything it needs to grow a full plant. Tiny tubers grow just as well as large tubers.
-
We use sterilization processes when harvesting and dividing dahlia tubers to prevent disease and we monitor our products to make sure you get the best possible items.
-
We Sell Tubers With Dormant Eyes
-
You will receive tubers from us with the following types of eyes.
-
Dormant eyes: these are still asleep and look like a crack, pimple or blemish on the crown. They will wake up given the right environment.
-
Awake eyes: these are beginning to open and resemble a tiny pearl. Eyes can be white, green, pink, purple or red.
-
Sprouted eyes: a full sprout developing out of an eye. Sprouts can be white, green, pink, red or purple.
-
Sprouts can fall off: if you receive a tuber that has sprouted and it breaks off before you plant it in the soil, it will be fine and it will sprout again.

We Sell Every Tuber We Deem Plantable
-
We divide thousands of tubers every single year. Every tuber we ship has been deemed "plantable" and if we don't sell it to you, we plant it in our own field. Every year our field is booming with the smallest, wrinkliest and ugliest tubers in our stock. Some varieties naturally make more ideal tubers than others. Typically the most expensive varieties have the worst tubers.
-
Upon receiving your dahlias open the box and inspect the tubers to make sure your order is correct. Please contact us immediately at Lalandfarm315@gmail.com, within 3 days if you have any issues with your dahlia order so we can make it right.
-
However, we cannot be held responsible for customer negligence, weather conditions, rodent damage, winter storage, or the performance of plants. Once your tuber has been planted La Land Farm is no longer responsible for damage after planting or failure to thrive.
-
-
Our tubers are sold as single tubers and tuber sizes will vary depending on variety. We guarantee to ship dahlia tubers with at least one viable eye and have tried to the best of our ability to correctly identify them.
-
Purchasing Anything you place in your cart will not be saved until purchase is complete. Tubers may go out of stock while you are shopping. In the case that we run out of tubers during packaging, we will reach out to you and either refund your order or replace with something similar that we agree upon.

Shipping
-
Dahlia tubers are shipped in the Spring once the danger of frost is past in OUR zone (5).
-
We do not plan on beginning to ship out until mid-late April. Some orders may not ship until mid-May as we are completely at the mercy of the weather. Our last frost date can be as late as May 14th, but we do make efforts to start shipping before that once weather allows. We try to ship in order of frost dates to your location as best we can.
-
When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation. In the Spring, you will receive a shipping notification with tracking number once your tubers are shipped.
-
On Farm Pick Up is available for local orders. You will be notified by email when your order is ready for pick up.
-
All orders ship USPS or UPS and typically take 2-3 days in transit for most areas of the US.
